2. Purchase and get your code.

Buy online and your unique access code arrives by email within seconds. One code per person. Family experiences work best with one phone leading the group.

3. Go to the starting point.

Head to the location shown on the experience page. Open app.topenduntold.com.au in your phone’s browser, enter your code, and you’re in.

4. Follow the GPS.

Your phone’s compass guides you between stops. At each stop, audio narration plays automatically. Solve puzzles, collect digital items and unlock the next chapter of the story.

5. Play at your own pace.

Pause anytime. Grab a coffee. Come back tomorrow and pick up where you left off. There’s no time limit and no tour group to keep up with.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to download an app?

No. Top End Untold runs entirely in your phone’s browser. On iPhone, you can add it to your home screen for the best experience, but it’s not required.

How many people can play on one code?

One code works on one device. For couples, one phone is plenty - share the audio. For groups, each person or pair needs their own code.

What if I lose signal?

The experience caches content for offline use. GPS works without mobile data. If you lose signal briefly, the experience will resume when it returns.

What do I need to bring?

A charged phone, headphones (one earbud recommended so you stay aware of your surroundings), water and sunscreen. A portable battery is a good idea for longer experiences. Listen carefully to the audio at each stop - it tells you where to go next and contains answers to some puzzles.

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Can I pause and come back later?

Yes. Your progress saves automatically. Re-enter your code anytime to resume.

What if I get stuck on a puzzle?

Every puzzle has a hint button. Tap it if you need a nudge. The answer is always either on a sign at the stop or in the audio narration.

What’s your refund policy?

Access codes are non-refundable once delivered, as they provide immediate access to digital content. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from completing the experience, contact us at hello@topenduntold.com.au and we’ll make it right.

Can I buy it as a gift?

Yes. Purchase a code and forward the confirmation email to the recipient. They don’t need to use it immediately - codes don’t expire.
