Darwin Harbour: Operation Peary
Darwin Harbour, 2200hrs, 18 February 1942. The aborted Timor convoy has returned. The harbour is full of ships. Tomorrow, everything changes.
Walk the Esplanade as a Naval Liaison Officer the night before the bombing. Encounter the hidden figures who kept Darwin alive — the coast watchers, the nurses, the men aboard the USS Peary who knew they wouldn't make it out.
Then raise your phone at the Peary gun memorial and watch history happen through augmented reality. This is the story Australia tried to forget.
